MASTERS OF THEOLOGY (M.TH)
Master Degrees of Theology require a total of 50 credits beyond a bachelor degree. Students enrolling in a Master program will need to submit an official transcript for their bachelor degree. Master of Theology is a program of two Years of Study which Comprises four Semester.
Theology program offers comprehensive training in Biblical studies, Theology, original languages, ministry, and effective communication designed to equip the next generation of pastor-scholars.
The Master of Theology degree program is designed to produce competent Bible expositors who are qualified to serve God effectively as pastors, missionaries, or leaders in other areas of vocational Christian ministry.
The goal of Master of Theology is to enable students to verbalize a general knowledge of the Bible, including a synthetic understanding of the major book, evidence an understanding of the historical development of theology, knowledge of pre-millennial theology, and an ability to support their theological views and apply
them to contemporary issues, demonstrate the ability to exegete the Hebrew and Greek texts of the Bible, and evidence an understanding of the educational program of the local church and an awareness of the worldwide mission of the church.
Entry qualifications
An applicant of Master of Theology (M. Th) must be a Bachelor Degree holder in Religion field with at least with Lower second Class or Grade (B), or a Holder Postgraduate Diploma in Theology or its equivalent with at least Second Class (B)
